I went from medibang/firealpaca to krita, and has been using krita ever since- it does have a bit of a learning curve to it but i do think its quite worth it especially it being free!

I've been using Firealpaca for the past year! It's free and on PC and Mac! Very lightweight with all the features you need, alongside free brushes to download at any time as well as being able to make custom brushes

There's also Procreate which is well worth the price too

i fucking love Firealpaca has been my go 2 art program 4 over 5 years i own Clip Studio but still use Firealpaca buc its easy 2 use and i know it super well
used the airbrush tool 2 draw these and then used tone curve 2 make it glitchy

I can somewhat draw if I connect my drawing tablet to my school laptop but the tablet screen doesent work and I can only use firealpaca so its pretty painful

If you can't have an Ipad I really recommend you to try ! it's free and on PC and MAC (idk for linux) but it's free.

For PC and Mac users, Medibang is also on PC and Mac. But I'd also recommend Firealpaca too. It's built off of Medibang but it basically trims the fat. You get all the same features and even a bit more. It's what I have used for a year now and it is so good
