Kudan is way more terrifying than kappa in my opinion and both of them are youkai. Just like with 'kudan', I learned about 'kappa' for the first time by watching anime. I love how watching anime or reading manga can be so informative and source of new knowledge.

Finally got “Sharks Of The World” by Ebert, Dando and Fowler. Very well written, informative and beautifully illustrated (I think Marc Dando did the illustrations). Comes very much in handy for me right now. I highly recommend it.
