Cats are difficult 🤯 Tried a new technique with layering up colours rather than shadows first and my brain has melted #digitalart
@hazelnauts @TeenTitansNC Now I will be layering some of the shadows! That's Nightwing and my beloved Huntress! He is also part of the Titans so it fits!
Made some good progress on this today, Cleaned up the character as well as adding some more layering elements to the foreground to add some depth. Really liking how it's coming together and I thing I'm ready for the final stretch of rendering.
What i was even thinking with this page layering
So over a year ago, @elisonic12 did a request stream on @sonic_legacy drawing OCs. I had mine done by Eli (second image) and I've wanted to color it ever since. Well, with help from @SweetShadow54 because I forgot that layering and inks exist, I finally got it colored!
A 4-hour marathon of layering today - during the monthly sketch meet with our natural science illustration cohort
as far as i can tell you can't directly manipulate the RGB channel in rgss3's bitmap class but you can also get this effect by layering 3 of the same image in each pure color channel with an additive blending mode
Yeah just some dumb fun, was messing with layering and such. I like how it came out, it's fun and simple. I'm sure Liz would agree~
Just a neat shot of a Riven I recently made for someone! Since this piece has unique layering to most of my crafts, thought I'd show ya! #Destiny2 #handmade #papercraft
Mistakes are part of the process. I messed this up by layering too much which made the piece look really FLAT and I made the bridge of the nose too thin when trying to fix it. So I’ve scraped away that section with my blade and now I can start fresh :)
I’m a fan of layering tshirts with a loose button up dress shirt for a laid back feel that lets me button up if it does get cold, but vests are an option too! Demin is a flexible color that works as a great neutral for bright colors, & you can adorn it with pins to boot!
Here's a little step by step layering video of my newest digital illustration completed in @Illustrator!
I just wanted to have some fun with one of my favorite space theme ideas, and this is where it led me!
The first image is my little photoshop sketch!

@STARBUNNY__ i am not the best at above water but !! Id say a good way to do it is a lot of strokes of dark and base color, layering it til it starts to resemble that lik pokey peaky part of water ripples
and at the top of those water ripples is white light! And if smth is (1/2)

Going live about 6:30 pm EST
Oh boy, it's Vii (I guess I can post this cause I'm no longer going with these designs) the hair and some of the layering is weird here
Ok, I still really love Keyfina's sketch, 10/10, no complaints (well her left hand is too big but I fixed that when I lined it)
here's a close up of how the tool sketches with strokes, I like layering them and then when colouring, setting the sketch to an overlay or multiply. It gives it some good depth.
