I find leather to be the easiest mog to work with (cloth has too many unexpected limitations).
My rogue doesn't really wear red, but I occasionally made random red outfits for fun, and never had issues doing so.

And finally, this is a 2 part costume. The first changes into the 2nd and the 2nd changes into the 3rd. The 3rd's skirt should be lighter red to match the rest of the costume but limitations suck.
