a neat trick i learned on how to digitize stuff without scanning your pattern pieces - take a photo of your pattern piece on a cutting mat so you have a reference for length and width then in your vectoring program set your board to match that length and width and vector away!

I remember being frustrated with scanning copics though so I went back to scanning pencils and finishing colors in Painter which allowed me to go for a more vibrant saturated look that helped prints stand out in the alley. Still I love this Haruhi drawing after all this time.
