New workflow—I rendered my figures first and colorized them afterward. 👾🎨🤙

I would’ve typically called it good at image #3, but some research on ambient and directional lighting took me down an awesome rabbit hole. Image #4 feels more like the figures are IN the environment.

(sidenote: I cannot relate to anyone who says pixel art is easier than other forms of digital art)
