Peter de Sève

Just an all-around fantastic artist. Great character designs, facial expressions, compositions, colors--I study his work all the time and constantly find it enlightening!

Edited his face, body proportions, and hair. Only thing that really could be improved from this point on is face texturing, like line art. But it's not too easy to get that looking right.

The face is based off one of his expressions from the anime. /blendshape.

David Feiss is another big one for me, though his inspiration mostly comes from an animation stand point; I mostly find myself studying his work on his erlier animations (ie, The "No Smoking" pilot)
Said animation (and the expressions that go with it) flow very nicely together.

I was trying to test different facial expressions and then realized in one of them
“Hold on,,,I’ve seen this face before” then checked and yup. I knew I saw it somewhere

Now fully colored! I have to add the expressions but I'm getting close to finishing the art part, then rigging :D https://t.co/SmDCfIgCWE

Spotlight Day

Today we would like to focus on King Meulens' "The Korrupted Kingz NFT Collection." King Meulens' collection portrays raw emotion through positioning, raw color strokes, and the twisted facial expressions shown on the subjects.
