Revisited FAUST (1994) probably my favourite film by Czech wizard Jan Švankmajer. I love its restless, demented energy, the bonkers flights of fancy set against shabby backstreet Prague locations. And one of my favourite screen depictions of Lucifer..!🔥

Quick doodle done in like 15 minutes. Franchise OC prompt, Optical Man, I made him up on a whim when I was 13 years old thinking about taking Sword Man's and Compass Man's gimmick further + the Devil Eye. Might revisit and shade it at a later date. MAYBE. We'll see.

Fuckin.... HOw DO HANDS! One minute I have them and the next they look like cartoon rejects.... I like the pose but overall the hands ruined it for me.
