The other character that is commonly associated with her is Felicia from Darkstalkers and this is mostly because Mignon has an alternate outfit which is pretty much a Catgirl Suit. Whereas Felicia naturally looks this way.

The animation was drawn on Cels with fountain pens. Later photocopying (xeroxing) became a cost-cutting method.
Finally, markers were used for contouring which is more common and easy to use than fountain pens.
Now when it's digital it's mostly art style.

Common Wombat has short bobbed gray hair that gets slightly lighter at the ends. It has a dark oval spot in the middle. She has blue irides with highlights, indicating her species is not extinct. Unlike other Friends, she has slightly tanned skin.
