Every character of mine that are Demises (essentially the Undead) have a layer of black around their eyes. This essentially brands them as a creature belonging to the only Necromancer in the story.

The biggest crime of is that it had all the potential to be such a thought-provoking and emotive story. It's neither. It also fails at just being a zany action flick. The action feels paint by numbers and the jokes don't land half the time. A shame.

I think it's not entirely because it's hard to animate/model (after all it's disney we're talking about) I think it's because of the toys, simpler design = cheaper toys, it's sad because looking at concept art you see all the wasted potential but it makes sense
