i use pillows at the moment but with my next personal suit i think im gonna switch to foam... my artstyle has fairly defined legs and i havent been able to achieve that effect with plush so far - it always goes all squishy-looking lmao

heres a comparison between the two wc brushes i mainly use. the one on the right is cleaner with more defined colors but the one on the right has more texture and definition, i feel.

Alright, so I'm not the best at explaining things, but the most important part of lighting are your shadows and highlights. That's how you define shapes. Unless you're going for horror, you want to keep your primary (key) light at least 45 degrees away from camera...
