it's clear a lot of people discussing bojack horseman aren't thinking about the show's qualities outside of the Sad Stuff. the show also plays with visuals and the narrative in amazing ways and we should appreciate that just as well. fantastic story structure all around.

So fun fact about Zecharias: He’s partially based on a vtuber called Vox Akuma.

One of Zecharias’ traits is that “he has a voice that makes you want to listen to him and do what he says”, which is heavily inspired by Vox’s ASMR streams.
