Technically Phrog was a creature called a nightmare diner (a species a friend and I made up) but then I gave Phrog their own lore and backstory separate from the species. But the species are weird creatures that eat your nightmares.(which give you good dreams 👍)

Muir took a bit to become Muir.

She was going to be Mimi ( in early versions of the story she was a simple minded creature)

I wanted her to be more formed as a character, so she needed her own name.

Muir means "Moor land" in Gaelic, It was short, unique, and cute, like her!
