Sprigatito ~ Big Wild Cat ~ Grass
Fuecoco ~ Big Fire Crocodile ~ Fire/Dark
Quaxly ~ Big Sailor Stork ~ Water/Flying

Gen 1 and Gen 3 are all good. There are no losers. The pokemon you pick from the start will be the best pokemon in the game when you finish. The grass pokemon always have it the weakest, but design wise to typing, they're over all perfect, no matter which one you pick.
