@Ephemeral_Moth While this one doesn't seem so; the fur is long, stringy, wisp like, but is well kept and almost regal. Giving the character a mysterious, persuasive, but suspicious appearance. So I think the disconnect you may be feeling is that the characters don't really vibe with (2/?)

The scarf Pokémon. They hate dust, won’t tolerate it, in fact they repel it. Apparently they’re covered in an oil that just wicks away any dirt and they also cover their nests in said oil. I translated that to a spray for the human form. Also kept the ears bc why not?😋
