I think I can share something from the first page of the Heavenly Kyuubi comic. I try to make some good expressions as well as pretty characters.
I didn't shade as I wanted to make sure the comic will come out in time without rushing it.

@Smajor1995 What a coincidence I just opened up commissions today! I have experience with simple animations as well, but that would be priced differently lol. One of my strong points is big and readable expressions, which is pretty important for emotes

Edited his face, body proportions, and hair. Only thing that really could be improved from this point on is face texturing, like line art. But it's not too easy to get that looking right.
The face is based off one of his expressions from the anime. /blendshape.
David Feiss is another big one for me, though his inspiration mostly comes from an animation stand point; I mostly find myself studying his work on his erlier animations (ie, The "No Smoking" pilot)
Said animation (and the expressions that go with it) flow very nicely together.
