Or one tileset that's based around couples throughout history, where some of the animations include things like a Bonnie and Clyde pic riddled with bullets, or the one for Lady Di and Prince Charles ending with the heart-shaped pic being broken, it's amusing.

Knuckles' shyness around girls is actually a trait that was pretty consistent in the games prior to the noticeable switch in writing. Very few of his lines were ever directed towards any female characters except Rouge, even when they were present and conversing.
