2. if you look at the canon lion designs, ALL of them have yellow/brown/orange as a base fur colour, which was also proven to me when i initially tried to colour him green as a base, he just looked REALLY out of place

(this actually worked out later when designing forzen tho)

also when it comes to redesigns, people only seem to be outraged when it comes to generic tiddy girls being redesigned. I sure didn't see any outrage or "respect the artist" comments about stuff like this for example.
