my personal favourite female mangaka is Jun Mochizuki, creator and artist of Pandora Hearts, Crimson Shell, and The Case Study of Vanitas. She does incredible art that is all traditional with either ink or gouache/watercolour and writes characters that stick in your heart so deep

If we're talking about women and manga, jun mochizuki's vanitas no carte and pandora hearts are series I will never stop recommending! Her art is gorgeous and her stories will pull at your heart in the best way possible
