The problem with Eggman's current choice is that he denies other people their freedom through robotic enslavement. If he became like Mr. Tinker, he could use his mechanical genius for good and receive the adoration he desires.
One game has a great netcode combined with interesting mechanics that allowed a loyal competitive community to form day 1 & the other is a 6/10 carried by mods and updates added for over 7+ years that still somehow haven't fixed the barely functional online.
