Added in all of their base colors, skin shade, and polished up their eyes. Now all I need to do is fill in the shade for their hair and clothes, then refined them all further, add in the light source after, polish up the line art some more, and finally make the background...#fgo

I found this old, super biased, highly personal chart on why I can't enjoy drawing mammals. I prefer to draw things that have defined body parts and mammals are basically a continuous chunk of flesh and fluff and they just confuse me(???)

What makes a great fabric mermaid tail? I’ve been making fabric tails since 2006 and have a few opinions on the matter. Drainage is the most important followed closely by a well defined fluke that does not have vast amounts of excess fabric. Functionality is important!
