Like my Ghost Eevee Haunteon, You make it hold a Wish Bone and have it Faint in battle. Upon reviving it at night, it will evolve into Haunteon.
See in this case the Wish Bone makes this method possible otherwise we could technically have done Haunteon before.

Cool evolution method to get the alt shelldar form:

Evolve a slowpoke with a shelldar on your team, but cancel the evolution. Slowpoke doesn't evolve but Shelldar turns into the Slowpoke tail shell.

Gore is a hard thing to do, believe me i've tried....if ya wanna do spooky stuff ya can do it without blood
The two methods I found best were adding to much detail or too little detail
For an example look at Into the Pit Springbonnie for too much or Redeads for too little detail
