Just finished Monster Boy and it's by far the best game I played this year. One of the absolute best modern Metroidvania's out there, charming and polished within an inch of its life. It's Shantae meets Hollow Knight in equal parts, for anyone still not sold.

What a difference a Decade can make... A little backstory as well. So the Picture on the left was my first coloured commission I did way back in my High School years. at the time I had no idea who Shantae was, nor had I ever played the games. (continued)

For those who have not played the original game, there will be a quick recap of the ending events of Monster World 4. The project takes place one year after it. Much is still being worked on, but I can confirm that game is 10-20 hours long.
I admittedly don't draw my other OCs nearly as much as Jan, so to do at least something of someone else, here's Luna dressed as Shantae. They're both magic users after all, so it makes sense I guess. Though one is clearly way better than the other.
