Humans weren't designed to cast spells, but that didn't stop them. The circular plate on the arm is the input. a device to allow mana into the body. it has to be learned like a second form of breathing. then magic can be used though an output. which are the metal tipped fingers.

He has a Persona, Beowulf! Recently commissioned to draw my idea for him! The basic idea is that he has a very rogue-y Persona since he's the son of two Phantom Thieves. Beowulf specializes in curse and fire magic, along with a couple ailment spells.

This guy casts a spell on himself sometimes but I'm not sure what it does. He auto-dodged normal attacks on the first turn before casting it but I had Usopp attack him on a whim later and it worked.
