Deep Breath: Flow

Exploring some new colouring techniques that suit the thick-line style.

Taking the end of this year. Really. Slowly. It's horrible, I'm chomping at the bit to go, but I'm pooped. I too would love to float and handle multiple tasks with multiple arms.

New cowsona💕 Her name is Amierre. Some info about her is that she is overall sweet but does have a more sassy side. I’m really proud of this art piece, I experimented with more shading techniques

Hand studies - digital painting

I’ve been learning new techniques on how to colour in skin - starting off from a black and white shaded sketch to colour 💅🏽 I think it’s turned out good! 🤔

I mean, just techniques from that era in general. This cut (left) from Future Boy Conan (79') lasts like 3 seconds and I can't imagine a modern anime even bothering to detail something like this, with her hands working it, expecially when the rest of the show looks like the right

My art summary.

I'm pretty happy with my progress. I was able to try out different shading techniques, as well.

Almost finished! It's taking a long time because I'm trying out new techniques and pushing myself to the limit. Might be out by New Years Day or earlier!

I used to work and paint on wood. These days, I use a mix of hand drawn and collage techniques. For me, it's important to keep an instinctive style, quite brutal. I need to share my mistakes, my fears with a pen, even if it's digital. Still hoping for my first sell this year.
