Nyx is the primordial Goddess of the night. She is represented by the darkness of the night and the night sky. Even Zeus was afraid of her power. Although she had no temple of her own, a single statue of her was found in a temple dedicated to Artemis. 👇

Hi I'm Margaret, I do art of a variety of underrepresented animals--mostly herps and avians--and I'm passionate about wildlife conservation.

I also run a small business full time with the help of a couple of really awesome employees! ♥️

Bignonia is represented in TN by 1 species, B. capreolata (crossvine). The compound leaves have 2 leaflets & a terminal branched tendril. You can find this all over the state in swampy forests, bottomlands, & thickets. It’s even on the cover of Guide to the Vascular Plants of TN!

Shout out to Graphic Design major, Addis Barge on this piece. “I've been trying to explore how I can take an assignment from school, and let it best reflect how I want to be represented. As a black artist, I want to attribute to improving the representation of BIPOC artists..."

I just think she’s neat! She has an amazing design and I really think the use of papel picado in her dress is a really cute way of incorporating Mexican culture into a character! And also when 7 year old me saw my culture represented I went bonkers I love her so much

Stacey is the most accurate diabetic character I know in my whole life. Sure, I have heard/seen diabetic characters in TV shows and movies, but they're mostly misunderstood or underrepresented. Did I mention Stacey is one of the main characters, not a minor character? So excited.

I'm all about Bou coming from a Saudi Arabia/Shamar background. I'm a culture fanatic, but I also wanted to keep everything to its source material out of respect for the culture represented. ⭐

Finished a 4-piece commission request! All together they took me 6 weeks from start to finish. They each presented me with interesting challenges and were great fun.
