Sometimes I peruse old sales charts to get a glimpse of a time period in comics.

As for Image Comics' sales positioning in the early-to-mid 2000's, all I can say is thank God for video games and 80's nostalgia.

This moved pretty fast! Expanded on the apple character I made when I was 4. Best friend was a lazy pear with a cigarette addiction. Just kept every design element and gave it some flair. The pineapple is new though. Can't do the early 2000's mascot vibe without the wild card!
