You know adulthood is a major step down from what came before when you realize being quarantined due to a deadly worldwide pandemic is the closest you'll ever get to having a snow day again.

RIP Albert Uderzo. As a child I much preferred clear-lined Tintin to Asterix; only in adulthood did I appreciate the utter genius of his creators Goscinny & Uderzo. They and their translators are now at the start of almost every language learning journey I make.

MAXWELL’S DEMONS is a beautiful, ambitious book, telling the life story of the world’s greatest supervillain, from youth to adulthood. A formally inventive love letter to comics that never loses its sense of wonder.

Harvest Moon makes it to the A Wonderful Life had players spend their days tending to their fields, and watch as their child grew to adulthood. The hybrid crops were pretty cool too! 🥦❤

Which profession did your child choose?

Jongdae-ya, you are the reason I want to draw again. Years ago I didn’t have any willing to draw, too preoccupied with work & adulthood

Then you rescued me with your voice, and drawing has become my theraphy. Here’s my 26th drawing of you

"Think like a child. Demolish the fences that adulthood puts around your imagination, and believe that anything is possible."

Just a little something I want to share for

Ariel is a Deuteragonist in my webcomic. She's meant to embody that transition from late adolescence to young adulthood. She'll be going through different trials, finding her sense of worth and where she belongs.

Hydell The Myconid Druid
He specializes healing magic and doesn't like talking much, if at all. He was a wide eyed adventurous child, and became far more serious and stubborn in his adulthood due to some traumatic events and his mission to save the mushroom people from extinction

college: midterms season for over 4 weeks, stress over feeling inadequately prepared for adulthood, rigorous academics
also college: doing a group project for an upper division paleontology class that involves everyone contributing to this beautiful illustration

ICYMI: This September
returns with a brilliantly dark collection of graphic shorts that offer a glimpse into the cracks between childhood imagination and the disappointing harshness of adulthood.

gave this idea yesterday it grew on me & started drawing, then saw the challenge, your own different styles in one drawing theme, wanted to give a try, so I drew anime characters in their adulthood + I have my weird and cute Pinny = Adult Pinny ✨

Also... happy Pokémon day!
I’ve been a fan of Pokémon for a very very large portion of my life, I grew up with the games as a kid, and I cherish them to this day in my adulthood.
I drew this picture a while back while while playing through sword and shield!

For some... rather unfortunate reason, it is unusually common to see Kabutops prey on their larval stage, Kabuto. They very quickly grow segments and limbs in their last few molts before adulthood, so perhaps it's related to their digestion of their old shells?

Just finished coloring the sketch page of Ryan that was done by

I love this so much, Fizzy made Ryan so adorable, and there's a youthful quality to these that I love, like this was Ryan before adulthood truly set in and certain parts of his life spun out of control https://t.co/Zmmrhzzerh
