I forgot the detail about her nails ;;-;; Her nails are naturally blue which also can be used to protect herself, just like how Glaucus Atlanticus uses its venom which is stored in its extremities. That means she can use venom to protect herself by scratching.

Freshwater eels aren't native to the US Pacific Coast. All the eels in N. America come from the Sargasso Sea, & swim in waters that empty into the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico.

There are lots of lampreys on the W. coast. But no native eels.
