Got to read an early copy of X-Men Red and it is a truly fantastic fresh start for Jean Grey. There's a clear sense of purpose to her narrative that reflects the core values of the X-Men. It is, hands down, Marvel's best X-Men team book. Great work !

For me is always a fantasy story first. I decided to do some a mash up Star Wars with - This is Gandalf Stormcrow - Jedi in Grey. Instead of a standard lightsaber he has a shorter version mounted upon a staff. As you can see I didn't have to change much.

Don't underestimate the role of value (dark & light) in how colors appear. The outfit here reads as violet, despite only being red + grey.
