See, I used to think it was weird at first too. But now I feel like the Mach 5 feels a bit naked without some color on the bottom half.

Plus, I think it's cool that Speed's outfit has the exact same color pallet as his car. Half blue, half white, with red and yellow highlights.

Got the color layers set for the base form. Still need to do this for the two armored forms. Using the color layers like this, combined with the usual highlights.

Part of me wants to draw the highlights to the "floor" on the base, to reflect how the lamps light the floor below.
