I've been drawing since I was about 8-9 years old. Joza used to be a self-insert superhero, looked nothing like this, and Kirby was there. Although I've grown so much, I find it interesting to look back and realize that Joza would probably (still) enjoy Kirby's company.

I do agree that Sword's moveset is oversaturated with Link moves, but I think he's more fun because of it

He also has some weird non-Link move inspirations too

Like why does he have what is functionally Fire Fox? And Falcon Kick? And Cape? And a bastardization of Kirby's dair?

The original! The gold standard! You don't get better than stealing a rocket so you can beat the commies to the moon. Kirby's figures are so human, even in the midst of inhuman transformation, and Lee's dialogue zings. A reason it's an instant classic.
