While it’s known as Veterans Day in the States, up here in Canada, November 11th is known as Remembrance Day. We also wear poppies. We remember those who fought and died for our countries

Today is Remembrance Day. Remembering those who lost their lives fighting for their country. This oil on board painting is called 'Poppies' and was painted in 1973 by Angela Spedding. Also a prize winner at the Wallasey Spring Exhibition 1973.
