My characters don't really exist outside of a story, so I prefer short story writing as a way to describe them as opposed to just listing personality traits and whatnot.

Compared to [LONE TRAIL], the story jumps to several character storylines, but they always point back to Kristen and the consequences of her actions. This creates a sensation of urgency that slowly builds up until we finally meet her in the end.

You'd think the car crash is a mystery, but the explanation is so simple that they had to add Ingrid and Crownslayer's stories to bloat the story and delay the climax with B and C plots.
