@CRTpixels This is a great image for me to tune the shader. I am still working on hue/saturation and so far it works better at a scaling of 5x but I feel not a bad result for a noob.
Step 3: Cover the fire in a hue/saturation adjustment layer, and tick "colourise". Use any colour you like (an orange colour around the level as this is what I find best suitable for fire) and cover the fire in it, and set saturation to 100. Make sure lightness is 0.

@Papa_ApplePie it's a personal nightmare knowing the very subtle hues don't show up very well on some monitors and mobile 😂
i got curious and tuned down the saturation all the way to see how it'd look in true monochromatic—pretty interesting, i think!
@HexerRush i also might try going less brightness + more saturation + a little more hue shift on some of the highlights? although i don't know if it's part of the style youre gunning for. i did a quick edit to try and get across what i mean a bit
another day, another wip (same leprechaun tho).
painting Mad Sweeney's hair I felt the urge to turn saturation to max
The new patreon update is here! In it, we build lots and lots of saturation onto a picture until it's bright enough to meet my standards. https://t.co/Sz7eh5LZEc

For a while I've been debating on what kind of color scheme to give Ben cause I'm not happy with how it is
So I inverted D.A. Boss's color scheme, gave it more saturation, put it on Ben, and bam, now I'm happy with this
Fooled around with an old project, bumped saturation and then did a lil bit of paint over for fun
Today I learned how important hue/saturation is. Had to add a bit more for the shading too, but the result was a nice, more vibrant color. Happy I figured this out but upset it took me this long lol
So I've never said it but my instinct is to paint everything washed out, which is part of why this stuff takes me so long. I mostly use a lot of layer type image editing manipulation to pick the colors Im going to add saturation with after the fact.
@Lurkahs Hmm. I don't think it's about the saturation, the colors just don't go together that well in my eyes. idk i'll figure something out
Got a bit too excited and did both one of tonight's #studybuddies and one set for Friday. Focused on Sargent's brush work in both, and tried to tackle my saturation/color issues in the former! As usual, no eyedropper.
QRT showing your OC's first design vs now! 🌟🌈

As my paladin gained levels she also got: poofier, fuller hair
Magical levels of color saturation https://t.co/6RIAQfmfac
