BTW, this Star Destroyer design is almost the same version than the one Ryan Church did in Oct. 2013 (cf The Art of TFA), inspired by what James Clyne tried to do with negative spaces inside the USS Vengeance hull in Star Trek Into Darkness (2013).

OTD (3 June 69) the destroyer USS Frank E Evans was cut in two after she crossed in front of the bow of the carrier HMAS Melbourne during night exercises in the South China Sea. The bow section sank immediately, and 74 US sailors lost their lives. Lest We Forget.
