Arale of course is the poop-poking protagonist of Toriyama’s comic masterpiece Dr. Slump. Goku encounters her during the Red Ribbon arc in the manga (and on a few other occasions in the anime), thus putting DB and Slump in kinda/sorta/not really the same continuity, a bit, maybe.

I'm planning a non-profit free for download Samurai Jack fan game with where you play as a Minion of Set. It will take in it's own continuity separate from SJ where Jack, Aku, or any other characters except the Minions, Ra, and Set do not exist.

Like not even mentioning that Steph's Batgirl series was cancelled & she was erased from continuity for YEARS so Babs could be Batgirl again there are constant examples of DC erasing Steph in favour of Babs like using Babs while to parody a Stephgirl cover

I have that book, I remember using it among others for trivia back in the day. I can appreciate they want to make nods and form a loose continuity but it just involves ignoring the continuity errors and lore conflicts to make it actually make sense.

4/23/74: Well, this was a logical pairing. MARVEL TEAM-UP has Johnny & Bobby squaring off with new creation Equinox. The story actually starts in GIANT-SIZE SPIDER-MAN (on sale that day) with a shadowed villain cameo. If you can't affect continuity, you make up new foes.
