A wonderful story from beginning to end. Great cast overall, but Takeru steals the show in terms of development. A wonderful epic about loss and maturity, some truly great moments. Chomp is still my favorite. I can see why this trilogy is so acclaimed.

The animation is phenomenal. Even ordinary scenes that are not battles have the dynamics of 3D scenery and spatial camerawork.
The introduction of new characters is excellent and VA is very fit.
I really enjoy watching Boji's development.
