"It is said the celestial dragons are born from the nebulae themselves, springing forth fully formed from hazy cosmic dust. But how would we mere mortals know? From far away, all we see is their light."

#GrainBuds, the second #solarterm in summer, there is a folk saying that "Grain Buds, the river is getting full". It heralds an increase in precipitation&temperature, and the arrival of midsummer. Get prepared for cooling down yourself from heatstroke.

Today is #EndangeredSpeciesDay. What is your favorite endangered species, and does it appear in heraldry?
Faldorn Dreadwolf Herald, done for MTG:Baldurs Gate Commander Legends. Loved playing with color and tone on this one. Forest backgrounds are always an opportunity to get crazy with composition, but I loved the symmetry of this idea, and how much it kept the focus on Faldorn.
Dragonborn houses deal with heraldry in a more aspirational way, in following an dragon they believe themselves to be metaphysically akin to based on their ideals and coloration. A whole family may declare themselves noble and descendants of a particular ancient wyrm.
Gnomish houses tend to be more function over form regarding their heraldry, with notable inventions of the house dominating the themes, particularly with Rock Gnomes of noble houses. Forest Gnome nobles tend to follow elven customs in regard to their house crests.
Dwarven noble houses are geometric, angular art deco designs with clan emblems or notable ancestors depicted. Shields for commercial sale are typically just geometric shapes. Heraldry isnt as much of a thing, as a clans design style is considered its coat of arms.
AU Rowen, if she was more of a Sindh girl... 🤭

Heraldo - suggested by axelcante14
I thought he was pretty cool. Someone who knows Veronica's world and has her back. Was really looking forward to more of him...so of course they killed him off🙄 #customfunko #customfunkopop #riverdale #riverdalefanart

Her life's ambition is to keep up to date information on all the creatures and beasts of Equestria!
Her cutie mark is a heraldry style crest with a Merlion and Wyvern on it to indicate her love of the world's monsters and beasts <3
