his design was, and still is so.. cool. and his personality was something that caught my attention. I probably wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't discover this guy. there are so many different iterations of Sonic, and for the most part, they're still the same guy to me. 2/3
going on another basic as fuck opinion but over the years, ive come to accept that Sonic is my favorite sonic character. I genuinely believe that Sonic (most iterations anyways) is a true mastery of the art of character design, and i just usually play as sonic in most sonic games

Rare Aurum. Corpseflower Maverick. As much as I like designing new reploid characters, coming up with a color theme for them is an entirely different beast for me to tackle. Though so far I'm satisfied the current result. Might tweak some things in future iterations.

you can see the lines get all zig-zaggy when they approach the center, it's a pretty challenging problem to solve when all you have to work with is the distance to the nearest face. I just threw more iterations and smaller step sizes at it, but it does mean it's damn slow
