For this illustration, when I was in the designing phase, I used a 3d model to figure out the shape of the roof and windows. A bit of a distraction, I'll admit, but also helpful and really fun too!

When it comes to Loud House, I usually know the style enough to *almost* skip the sketching phase, but when I'm trying new styles as I did here with Avatar Aang, my sketching process is something like this.

Rough pose, fix mistakes, test shading, and finally the finished pic.

When drawing my lines used to be so dark and thick and unwieldy. But the past few years I've really gotten into soft thin lines and I'm quite enjoying it! Now to see if it's my new thing or a phase, heh

March 28th is the day Sam Yamada's character concept was finalized and approved.

He was the first 23rd Extras character design to make it past the concept phase, so he's very special to me, and I am grateful to all of his fans.

Here's , Smoke. He's a no-mane on the shy side. He's shy but also a bit of a smart ass. He's a lion that uses sarcasm to deal with his issues. I was going to call him Shadow but, he already reminds me of an emo phase, Smoke was better.

So I need to create a small run of 3 end cards that sit at the back of a card deck you. This is to signify the end of the game and the closing phase, as the trench is based in the deep sea, I thought a series of oxygen tanks that count down to zero. What do you think?
