Making the Rival sprites for the game - I think I got some good detail for the characters for being such small sprites.

It took me absolutely years to find out how they did three characters like that. I thought for sure they must be all sprites. Making one out of characters seemed like it would take up so much extra RAM. Surely that would never be done. 😋

Finished his basic sprites. This will be used for a fangame, but since I don't have a lot of hopes for it I might give this to someone else if they need it.

if i were to ever make a game it would be a shoot em up. something like a combination of Bro Force and Metal Slug X. character select screen, with OC corresponding enemy sprites.

Kind of made a snap decision that I'm not sure I'll keep in, but I might try to go for the Gen 1 feel on trainer sprites. Some of them are much more expressive than their Gen 2 counterparts.
