Old art time
This is my boi, stinger.
I used this as a basic model for playable characters in unity. Unfortunately never got far.
It is nice pixel art tho.

Uh oh, Stinkfly
His horns/'eyes' are based on Leucochloridium paradoxum, a parasite that infects snail eyes and makes them super funky. His stinger can now also shoot goop, and he got some sweet boots.

FACT
Plants vs zombies heroes had an event called (mission)REd Alert and was made to celebrate games for RED event and it would force you to use rose and a pre-selected deck however it is no longer playable.

It also introduced red stinger into the game

Hachi's "bee form" isn't the final stage of her transformation. It's more of a middle stage currently, since she is kind of missing elements that bees have (like a stinger, wings, etc.)

Howleaf, the evolved form of Chryseed. The grass mane grows taller as it matures, along with its stature. It also gains a more roguish nature, chasing and playing with its prey. Concept by Chance Fuerstinger.

New we've got Beetop and Beezwhacks (punny names) inspired by wingless bees. Bug/Fighting Type. Being grounded they've had to resort to close combat by spinning rapidly on their stingers. The second stage coats its weaker areas in hardened honey.

If you evolve Urlibird with the Fancy Scarf at night, it’ll evolve into Pollydo AND gain the Fairy type. But if Urlibird evolves with the Fluffy Pillow in the day, it’ll evolve into Pollydont, AND gain the fighting type.
