• Tenrecs are diverse in appearance; due to convergent evolution, some look like hedgehogs.
They differ from hedgehogs in that hedgehogs roll into a ball and hiss at potential predators, while tenrecs will unroll, attack and bite.

Looks similar, but I see some aspects of other OCs in there. It could purely be coincidence that this one looks like Iris.

If it’s any consolation, I designed my OC, Comet the Tenrec, and then realised right after that it looked just like Spike the Porcupine from Archie Comics.
