To me the secret is in the eyes! Shorter and "straight" eyelashes as well as lower and less arched eyebrows really help, even when they have long hair or soft features! A prominent brow ridge and a neutral lip color also add a little more masculinity. That's my 2 cents haha

being more confident with your lines! i love doing line exercises to help me see what type of lines to use! I cannot express this enough, USING! REFERENCES! it makes the world so different. For color variation, studying how hue changes help add depth to a piece!
