First drawing in the 2010 style since October. I really like this one, and the classic style is pretty fun, and nicer to draw, since there's no coloured outlines.

Baked maps for Jiro. The outline effect was achieved by duplicating the mesh, inverting normals and applying an unlit material. A technique I learned from Frederic Arsenault -https://t.co/R0KRduBzBX and I think it looks awesome :D I'm excited to start painting!

Line drawing done for the giant Cenozoic bird Gastornis. I've wanted to reconstruct it for a long time, it's such a charismatic and remarkable animal. Look at that beak! (Also body outline is completely obscured by feathers, as it prolly should be)

Probably doesn't look like much of an update, but I spent the last 4 hours getting Manni ready for rigging! Dropped her from 7500 polys to 5200, UV mapped, textured, and organized her outliner! I'm really happy to have her as my main character 🥰

Personally, as an artist, I love doing these effects on my free time. As long as I am given an outline, pretty much I can get it done in a few minutes to less than half an hour. Makes me think of globalization and how I might get my side hustle on, you know.
