My submission for the @AdRidiculous art contest. Arani Cascavel and her knight "The Vengeful". Based on native brazillian culture (aka Tupi-Guarani) "Arani" can mean "bad weather/tempestuous", cascavel is portuguese for "rattlesnake" and the knight is based on the "boitata" (1/2)

Weathering has been completed with acrylics. Next stage is the oil paint rendering which will further enhance the appearance of the model.
Final touches today to this small landscape (10 x 12 inches) Low sun in winter really brings out the colours in the field stubble and vegetation. It’s the warm ochres and violets that attract me. Warm colours in cold weather. How does that work?! #landscapepainting #artcollector

Trying to keep it simple with some callback of the front side, to stay in design.
Couldn't help but adding some fun decals though. Decals are always a nice finishing touch, right before weathering.
