@GuyNorcal After doing the linework I make a concept for the background. This is when I usually change it completely from the 1st idea as you can see.
Afterwards I try to decide for the actual colors - try to 😂
When it comes to shading I adjust the details & lights a.s.o.
Adds up then. 👀

Hot take. I really like heroes who can also show compassion towards their enemies. Who wants to help steer them down a better path. Might be impossible, but it makes me feel that they look past beyond themselves and try to make the world a better place.
