Dude, remember one and only timelapse you did? (that i know of, anyway) I made this using your method. Took 5 hours. Gotta say, it's so much faster.
Proportions are kinda off, but it's my first attempt this way.

Staring at a perfectly clean white canvas can be intimidating, making you tense up before even starting. However, by sketching on a textured canvas, your mind can relax because the starting point is already not perfect. This method helped me greatly back in school. Give it a try.
