They’re probably referring to how there’s no highlights in them. Eyes are wet, glossy surfaces so they reflect light really well. They end up looking flat and empty without the reflected light in them (also I pointed the pupils more but that’s just my personal preference lol)

In my version of the Forgotten Realms, when you reach level 6, you either become a little more hot, or you turn into a subjectively hotter dragon. A little disappointed that I had to homebrew this rule myself but at least now it's a realistic war simulation.
